Willow Haven is an Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) program.  It includes time-limited residential services to individuals who are in need of a structured setting. IRTS are designed to develop and enhance psychiatric stability, personal and emotional adjustment, self-sufficiency, and the necessary skills to live in a more independent setting.

Willow Haven also provides residential crisis stabilization services. Residential crisis stabilization services are mental health services provided to an individual who is experiencing a mental health crisis situation.  A crisis assessment and intervention treatment plan are provided to the individual upon arrival at the residential crisis stabilization facility.  These services are intended to help the recipient obtain his/her functional level as it was prior to the crisis.

This crisis residential setting is supervised, licensed, and has 24-hour per day staffing for crisis stabilization. Staff has access to a qualified mental health professional or practitioner, 24-hours per day, direct or by telephone. A qualified mental health professional or practitioner will be available to the recipient daily on a face-to-face basis.

Registered nursing services are available as necessary.

Specific services include safe and secure housing, a treatment plan, supportive counseling, skills training, and collaboration with other service providers in the community.

To be eligible for residential crisis stabilization a recipient must be:

  • Age 18 years or older; and

  • Experiencing a mental health crisis emergency
